Young Arts Festival is a crossover that combines musical styles, rediscovers classical and jazz sounds. During this year's edition in Krosno, on July 21-23, 2023, classical music in a modern approach and works by Polish artists of the 21st century will be presented. World premiere of Andrzej Karałów's newest composition will take place.
Ralph Kaminski will perform at the opening of the festival. On the second day of the festival, July 22, lovers of jazz and instrumental sounds will have the opportunity to meet the Grammy Award winner, The Yellowjackets.
In the final concert the Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by José Maria Florência, will perform Adam Wesołowski's Dance of the Heavenly Spheres, which was written on the occasion of the 550th birthday anniversary of Nicolaus Copernicus, and will premiere Denudation - a concerto for piano and orchestra by Andrzej Karałów. The soloist will be Piotr Sałajczyk. The concert was created as part of the ‘Composers’ Commissions’ programme implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
