Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
The Association of Polish Chamber Musicians - Cracow Branch invites you from the 14th of September to the 6th of October, 2023 to a series of artistic events that will be held in the Podkarpacie manors. The programme includes not only excellent music, but also meetings dedicated to the 130th anniversary of birth of Aleksander Fredro and the 185th anniversary of the and 130th anniversary of death of Jan Matejko. Admission is free.
Performances by Zarębski Piano Duo, Duo Accosphere, Duo Karolina Mikołajczyk (violin) and Iwo Jednocki (accordion), pianists Monika Gardoń-Preinl, Julia Samojło, Marta Mołodyńska-Wheeler, Olga Tsymbaluk, and soloists: Łukasz Hajduczenia (baritone), Monika Korybalska (mezzo-soprano) and Sylwia Olszyńska (soprano) are planned.
During the inaugurating concert, we will hear not only piano pieces for 4 and 6 hands, but also fragments of works by Aleksander Fredro interpreted by the recognized Cracow actor Jacek Romanowski. The project programme will also include a lecture by Marta Kłak-Ambrożkiewicz - curator of the Jan Matejko House - dedicated to this outstanding painter.
