"Encore" - a choreographic show about love with live music by Lucia Długoszewski (1925-2000), an American composer, student of John Cage and Edgar Varèse, choreographer and inventor - will premiere on the 23rd of November, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Hashtag Lab. Liwia Bargieł-Kiełbowicz and Stanisław Bulder will dance in the modernist villa at Barska 29. Show aimed for ages 16 and up.
“The show 'Encore' is my return to contemplative, metaphysical art. My reflection turns towards love. I look at it at its core, as a primal, pure creative force. We have different motivations to act, but it is love that seems to be the most uplifting to me," says choreographer and dancer Liwia Bargieł-Kiełbowicz.
The music by Lucia Długoszewski will be performed by Zofia Dutkiewicz (flute), Martyna Kułakowska (piano) and Olga Przybył (drums).
