The 5^th Festival of the Polish Royal Opera will be filled with dozens of hours of Polish music. On stage of the Royal Theater between the 2^nd and 24^th of July, 2022 soloists, the Vocal Ensemble and Orchestra, and the period instruments ensemble of the Polish Royal Opera will perform.

The Festival will include twelve artistic events - performances and concerts. During the ceremonial inauguration, on the 2^nd of July, the premiere of Zygmunt Krauze's The Night of Ravens directed by Waldemar Raźniak, commissioned by the Polish Royal Opera, will take place.

The libretto for this one-act opera was prepared by Małgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk based on Ballades and Romance and Dziady by Adam Mickiewicz. The audience will have the opportunity to confront two musical interpretations of Mickiewicz's poetry: on the 14^th of July, on the Old Orangery stage we will hear Stanisław Moniuszko's Widma cantata.

The 22^nd Music Gardens Festival 2022 Sing the Gardens will take place on July 1–31, 2022. This year's festival refers to the novel by Paweł Huelle, in which music plays an important role, especially the mysterious opera by Richard Wagner.

The opening concert (on the 1st of July at 6:30 p.m.) will take the participants into the world of famous arias by Stanisław Moniuszko, Charles Gounod, fragments from operas by Zygmunt Noskowski and Władysław Żeleński. The freshness brought by young  performers (Magdalena Stefaniak, Szymon Mechliński, Aleksander Teliga) - laureates of the Bogdan Paprocki National Competition in Bydgoszcz and the Warsaw Sinfonia Viva string orchestra conducted by Tomasz Radziwonowicz, will certainly be an excellent introduction to the further events of the 'Music Gardens'.

This year exceptionally, concerts will take place at the Sinfonia Varsovia Concert Pavilion in the Grochowska 272 street in Warsaw. The concert of the piano duo Fiona and Chiara Alaimo (on the 20^th of July) will be organized in the ballroom of the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

The Summer Chamber Festival ‘Music in old Wrocław’ will take place between the 2^nd of July and 27^th of August, 2022. When great institutions are ‘dozing’ and the audience does not necessarily like rock or jazz, good chamber music is a great choice. Admission to the concerts is free!

The programme of this year's event enables the inhabitants of Wrocław and tourists visiting the capital of Lower Silesia to make a musical journey from the early baroque to the present day. The organizer - the Association of Artistic Initiatives ‘Mosty Kultury’ wants to refresh the tradition of music salons and thus make classical music more accessible. In the beautiful, carefully selected historical interiors of Wrocław, in the evening time, interesting and still little known chamber music literature will be presented at the highest artistic level, including works by Jan Adam Maklakiewicz, Karol Szymanowski, Jan Gall, Stanisław Niewiadomski, Wojciech Kilar, Andrzej Panufnik and Mieczysław Weinberg.

Elbląg Music Masterclass was created for young musicians who want to develop their skills under the supervision of outstanding instrumentalists and educators from Poland and abroad.

During the 10 days of July (01.07-10.07.2022), a number of various events will be organized, tailored specifically to the needs of students of music schools of the first and second degree, students and graduates of music academies. The participants will take part in courses, workshops and lectures. They will perform during recitals and concerts. EMM provides young musicians with a prestigious start to their individual musical activity and the opportunity to present their skills to a wide audience.

Polish Music Information Center POLMIC is the founder of the prizes for the participants. Co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

We invite you to the July concerts at the Silesian Philharmonic, during which you will hear music known from the big screen, including works by Wojciech Kilar. On the 1^st of July, 2022 at 7.00 p.m. the Silesian Philharmonic Choir, conducted by Jarosław Wolanin, will host an evening full of film music. The solo parts during the concert inaugurating this summer concert series will be performed by Robert Czmok (saxophone) and Adam Eibin (piano).

The programme of the concert will be filled with songs from the movies. It will be an opportunity to listen to works created for the needs of such images, such as the Les choristes, Just Like Heaven, Amadeus and films from the James Bond series. What's more, musicians will perform works that were created with concert performance in mind, but turned out to be an inspiration for many directors and appeared many times in films.
