The Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk and Radio Gdańsk S.A. invite you on 9 May 2020 at 8.00 p.m. to a concert of the series "aMuz on Radio Gdańsk", which is also a prelude to the Gdańsk Music Festival. Soprano Sonia Warzyńska-Dettlaff will present works by Polish composers.
"AMuz on Radio Gdańsk" is a series of concerts initiated in October 2019, featuring students, graduates and teachers of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. A total of 9 concerts are planned for the academic year 2019/2020. All concerts are conducted by Konrad Mielnik and broadcast live on Radio Gdańsk.
The next concert will take place at the Janusz Hajdun Gdańsk Radio Concert Studio. It is the Award of the Rector of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk Prof. Maciej Sobczak, PhD Habil., and the President of the Board of Radio Gdańsk Adam Chmielecki to Sonia Warzyńska-Dettlaff, who won the first prize in the 1st Stanisław Moniuszko Polish Vocal Competition for students and graduates of second-degree music schools and art colleges.
The programme will include songs by Fryderyk Chopin, Stanisław Moniuszko, Ignacy Marcel Komorowski, Mieczysław Karłowicz and Stanisław Niewiadomski. Sonia Warzyńska-Dettlaff will perform with piano accompaniment by Grażyna Troć.
