POLMICPorta Musicae Artistic Association invites you to a special evening at the Wawel Royal Castle. On September 11th, at 7 p.m. in the Senators' Hall, we will go on a journey through the world of legends.

The musical interpretation of Cracow legends will be presented by the Cracow Golden Quintet, and the stories will be presented in words by Piotr Krasnowolski. During the concert, we will hear the extraordinary Wojciech Kilar's Quintet for wind instruments, composed by him at the age of only 20, as well as the premiere performance of arrangements of Cracow legends, composed by Aleksander Dębicz commissioned by the Cracow Golden Quintet. These are extremely interesting and colorful compositions in which individual characters are represented by specific instruments that create a fairy-tale sound that perfectly illustrates the events contained in the legends.

A mini-podcast will be available on the website https://anchor.fm/cracow-golden-quintet from the 4th of September: episodes of a word-music drama about Cracow's legends, which will be a kind of prelude to the concert
